A bee in a flower is the subject of our Summer edition of the Four Seasons Photo Contest

Published by John Noble on

The subject of the summer four seasons contest is a bee in a flower. An example is shown on the right. This contest runs from June 1 to August 31.

To enter the contest here are the rules:

  • Every season, we’ll identify a specific item (e.g., “an oak tree”) for you to find within the Conejo Open Space. As long as the object is within COSCA property, it qualifies. Here is a map of the Conejo Open Space trails.
  • After you’ve located an object that matches the challenge description, take a photo of it.
  • Then email us your entry and tell us where in the Conejo Open Space you took it. If you like, post the photo to your Facebook or Instagram tagging COSF (@ConejoOpenSpaceFoundation). We may post your entry to our social media accounts, our website and email.
  • To be considered, your photo must be at least 800 pixels along the shortest size.
  • By submitting a photo, you give us permission to post your photo to social media and to our website, and to use your name if you are chosen as the winner.
  • The contest is open to anyone 18 years of age or older.
  • Multiple entries for each person will be accepted.
  • Of the people who successfully complete the challenge, a winner will be drawn at random at the end of that contest. We’re also offering a new prize: An earth-friendly COSF t-shirt along with a $25 gift certificate to a local establishment! And this year, you can win multiple times.

To be notified by email of each new challenge, please sign up here.
