Triunfo Canyon Trail
The September 1 Where in the Conejo contest photo was of the Triunfo Canyon Trail. Of the correct entrants, Maryann was selected at random as the winner of a $25 gift certificate. Congratulations and thanks to all who entered the contest!
The Triunfo Canyon Trail leads from Triunfo Community Park up to the Los Robles Trail, near the east end. It is a very popular trail with hikers and mountain bikers, in part because it provides access to a number of trails in the Los Robles and adjacent open space areas. Triunfo Community Park has ample parking and bathrooms, an always-popular item!
This month’s route to explore this trail starts at the community park and loops along the Bobcat Trail to the east, then returns along a slightly different route. Be sure to try it in the fall when the trees are changing colors – the view down onto Westlake is spectacular!
