December’s work day improved the Eagle Point Trail at Wildwood

The Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency (COSCA), with support from COSF, held its final monthly trail work day of 2024 on Saturday, December 14. Even though it was the busy holiday season, 15 volunteers showed up at Wildwood Regional Park to clear the overgrown Eagle Point Trail. COSCA Rangers Joe, Nick and Ryan helped out as well.

Named for two golden eagles who used to nest in the hills above, the rolling Eagle Point Trail is one of Wildwood’s less well-known routes and worth exploring. Volunteers last worked this trail earlier this year, on January 27.

If you’re interested in volunteering for one of the monthly trail work days in the coming year, please sign up for the notifications. After participating 3 times and recording your work, you’re eligible for one of COSF’s cool work shirts gratis! We have both winter and summer versions now!
