Conejo Spring Trail Work Day on the Los Robles Trail: March 15, 2025!

We’ll be working on the center section of Los Robles Trail, starting at the Whole Access Trail and working east. Mostly we’ll be fixing ruts and drains, but there will be some light brush to clear back as well. At noon, a taco lunch will be provided for the volunteers, and there will be lots of swag to give away, courtesy of COSF. Please register in advance so we know how many people to prepare for!
The work area is nearly 1.5 miles long so we’ll need a lot of volunteers to come out to help! In October we held the last ever Fall Trail Work Day, so this is now the only annual event where scores of volunteers get together to make a major improvement to our trails. We hope you’ll be one of them this spring!
Arrive at 7:30 am to register and be ready to head up the trail at 8:00. A free lunch of tacos will be provided at noon for volunteers and the prize giveaway will be after lunch. The value of the swag items range from about $10 to well over $100!
Work tools will be provided, as well as instructions on how to use them safely and effectively. No experience is needed: You work at whatever rate you’re comfortable with and take breaks as you like.
Wear sturdy hiking boots with good tread, long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, sunglasses, sunblock, and a hat. Bring water, snacks and, if you have them, work gloves.
Parents/guardians are responsible for minors at all times. Children must be over 7-years-old to attend. Be prepared to supervise children between 8 and 14 years of age. Please leave your 4-legged friends at home.
Get directions to the staging area with Google Maps. at the north-west end of Greenmeadow Ave, near the south end of Moorpark Rd. Parking is limited so carpool if possible!
