Native Plantpalooza & Eco Fest Returns for Fifth Year October 10!

On Saturday, October 10, COSF will host the fifth annual Native Plantpalooza & Eco Fest. This free family event will be held at Conejo Creek North Park Lakeside Pavilion area in Thousand Oaks from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and will feature dozens of eco-themed exhibitors, including native plant vendors, bee experts, wildlife rehab specialists, and herpetologists. Exhibitors will have native plants and other eco-related goodies for sale, as well as plenty of giveaways and swag.

• National Wildlife Federation (representing the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing)

• Wild Birds Unltd

And we are excited to be joined for the first time by:

Attendees can learn about native plants, water-wise gardening, and get tips on living more sustainably. We’ll have fun, creative activities for children, including microscope explorations, touch-and-talk tables about wildlife, plus coloring and crafts. We may even have a visit from the Ventura County hook-and-ladder fire truck if urgent business doesn’t call them away.
