Summary of accomplishments, 1995 to 2019
- $35,000 donation raised for the first Hill Canyon Bridge construction
- Donated $2,500 for the Liberty Canyon-US 101 Wildlife crossing
- Fund and support Trails Education Days – 25 Years, 40,000+ CVUSD students
- Pledged $30,000 for building the new Hill Canyon Bridge
- Secure grants to support Trail Education Days, Trail Work Days, and Resource Management programs
- Funded over 6,000 bike “awareness bells” offered free at select trailheads
- Fund the development of up-to-date COSCA trail maps
- Funds provided for an Open Space Outreach trailer
- Funding provided for all open space volunteer programs
- Launched a Speaker Series with three events in 2019
- Exhibit at numerous corporate health & green fairs and environmental events
- Host the annual Conejo Open Space Holiday Party to recognize our volunteers and supporters
- Started “Where Is This in the Conejo Open Space?” Acorn photo contest in 2019
- Host cosf.org website and blog to inform and educate about Conejo open space and to recruit volunteers
- Joined the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce in 2017
- Publish and distribute a quarterly e-newsletter
