Congratulations to Cindy Wagner of Thousand Oaks who provided the correct answer and was selected as the winner. Thanks to all who responded!

At 10.25 miles long, the Los Robles Trail is the longest single trail in the Conejo Valley. It stretches along the southern edge of Thousand Oaks from Westlake in the east to Newbury Park in the west. Across the street from the Newbury Park trailhead is a connecting trail that leads to Rancho Sierra Vista / Satwiwa and then Point Mugu State Park. Traversing these trails, one can travel all the way from Westlake to the ocean and stay on trails the whole way!

The Los Robles Trail is divided into roughly halves – the contest photo is on the eastern half, most of which is an Edison Road, as you can tell from the power lines. In contrast, the western half is mostly single track and includes the famous ‘Space Mountain‘ section that mountain bikers love so much.

There are many connecting trails – for example in the east, White Horse Canyon and Triunfo Canyon Trails, and Rosewood, Spring Canyon and Oak Creek Canyon Trails in the west.
